YAMAHA Heart, European Soul – the new SE series embodies an unprecedented symbiosis of meticulous precision and the European heritage of piano building with its special sound ideal. This was only possible because we were able to draw on the skills and experience of European piano technicians in the development of these new top instruments. Inside the instruments are hidden European materials of the highest quality: specially selected bass strings and hammers as well as soundboards. We are convinced that this was a logical consequence in order to develop a particularly high-quality instrument for the very demanding European market. But what ultimately brings the SE series to the highest level is the fact that the same team of piano builders that makes the YAMAHA CFX concert grand puts their craftsmanship into these instruments.

The SE 122 has a more compact form than the SE 132 and is equipped with the same European, high-quality materials such as bass strings, hammers and soundboard wood as the SE 132.

Surprisingly, despite its smaller size, the SE 122 has keys of the same length as the SE 132. Compared to other pianos of this height, the SE 122 has a particularly good playability.
